On Saturday 11th October FOMsa in conjunction with the Classic Owners Motorcycle Club presents the second “Ride for Research” poker run.  Raising funds for the FOMsa SAHMRI Equipment Fund. Each year we try to provide funds to support an up and coming PhD Medical Research Student to access equipment to support their studies in the selected discipline This year we are staging our second Poker Run. So get a group of mates together and enter. Pay your $25 entry and you will have a chance to win cash and some great prizes.  This promises to be a great day out. Starting from home base you will draw your first card. Then travel on to three more stops to draw an additional card at each before returning to home base for your last card. The best hand wins and we have 2nd & 3rd places plus a prize for the worst hand. If we have a tie for any position it will be decided by the throw of a dart, the highest score taking the prize. Gather from 10 am to pick up your entry sticker, first card & recording sheet . We will have a short briefing before heading off with a 10.15 start. It promises to to be a fun day riding to three stops to pick up your cards before returning to base for the presentation of prizes and a bite to eat and a drink with your new friends.
